These Days

2001-Present: In 2001 we brought Trek Bicycles on board and we haven’t looked back since. At 12:35pm on March 15th 2002 Wyatt came along for the ride. In 2004 we brought on our 2nd full time employee and resident bmx guru Zach Reed. In 2006 we had the best and worst year of our shop. We watched our friend win the greatest race in the world only to have it ruined by things out of his control. We will never forget who the real winner of the 2006 Tour De France is, Floyd Landis.

Today we feel we have the absolute best cycling products in the world with Trek, Specialized, Gary Fisher, Felt, Mirraco, and Haro leading the way, as well as the staff to help you choose what is right for you. We still race, we still ride every day, and we still love living in “A world dominated by two wheels”.

The Future: Beginning in 2008 we are making a major expansion of Green Mountain Cyclery to better serve you. We are doubling the size of the building starting in the winter of 2008 and scheduled to be completed in the early summer of 2008. We will remain open during that time to serve your cycling needs. Wait till you see what is next in “A world dominated by two wheels”.

From a fantastic opening week and party, to jam packed classes, a huge bmx summer jam with a live band, trips to Diablo and Ray’s it has been quite a season so far.
